Je suis prototypiste et modéliste avec 15 ans d’expérience dans le développement et la fabrication de vêtements.

Mon approche allie expertise technique, sens de l’analyse et résolution de problèmes, avec une attention particulière portée à la compréhension de vos besoins, afin d’accompagner chaque projet du concept à la réalisation du produit fini.

Originaire de Lettonie, je me suis installée à Londres à l’âge de 18 ans, où je me suis formée à la mode et ai débuté ma carrière au sein de studios de création. Au fil des années, j’ai développé une solide expertise dans le patronage, le développement produit et la mise au point de prototypes, en collaboration étroite avec des designers et des équipes créatives.

Entre 2010 et 2013, j’ai fondé ma propre marque, Sarmite Ostanevica, au sein de laquelle j’ai conçu des collections et supervisé l’ensemble du processus de production, du concept au vêtement final.

Aujourd’hui basée près d’Annecy, dans les Alpes françaises, je travaille de manière indépendante à travers Sarmite O Atelier. Je collabore avec des designers, stylistes, photographes et équipes de production audiovisuelle pour transformer des concepts créatifs en prototypes techniquement aboutis.

I am a garment prototypist and pattern maker with 15 years of experience in development and manufacturing.

My work is driven by a balance of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and problem-solving, with a strong emphasis on understanding each client’s vision. I support projects from initial concept through to the creation of a refined final product.

Originally from Latvia, I moved to London at 18 to study fashion and began my career within design studios. Over time, I have developed strong expertise in pattern cutting, product development, and prototype refinement, working in close collaboration with designers and creative teams.

Between 2010 and 2013, I founded my own label, Sarmite Ostanevica, where I designed collections and oversaw the entire production process from concept to finished garment.

Now based near Annecy in the French Alps, I work independently through Sarmite O Atelier. I collaborate with designers, stylists, photographers, and creative production teams to bring concepts to life through technically accomplished prototypes.
